A saxophonist plays alone in a quiet Barcelona alley. This black-and-white scene brings calm, urban character to living rooms, hallways and offices.

The musician leans against weathered stone in half shadow, saxophone lowered, his gaze turned inward. Opposite him, the eroded facade of a Gothic church with tall arched windows recedes into the distance. A bright band of daylight crosses the cobblestones and leads the eye to the open instrument case. Deep greys and hard contrasts carry this documentary street photography.

Above the sofa, in the entrance hall or behind a desk, the scene comes into its own. It suits industrial interiors, lofts and restrained rooms in grey, black and warm wood, adding depth while calming busy walls.

Urban quiet that gives a room character and a settled, focused mood.
